The beautiful part about in-home sessions is that you can relax and be yourself while also capturing the beauty of this session in an authentic organic way. These sessions are laid back and flexible so that we can capture all the beauty that parenthood is.

I love delivering to my clients a gallery of sweet moments from naturally posed to candids

The images you receive will be a treasured keepsake you will come back to time and time again…and smile.

What to expect:

1) Where do we shoot the session ? Typically we use window light coming into a bedroom, the nursery & living room where people can be comfortable. Doorways / Patio doors work as well.

Each home will be different when best light of the day is coming through the windows...typically between 9 am - 1 pm gives the best light and happy babe!

2 ) What to wear ? What ever you are comfortable in. Barefoot and casual works very well. Neutrals starting with ‘what’ Mom is wearing, and build around that. Solid coloured tops work nicely for backgrounds for babe when they are in your arms. Simple onsies for baby...white looks great if you have it. In the end you do 'you' what ever your style is.

3 ) Where do we start? We start with; where babe is at in their schedule...ie) sleeping in their bassinette..then we start with sleeping shots and little details in the nursery. The newborn leads the session and we capture it as it unfolds. Babe wants to cluster feed during the session then we can capture the bottle / breast feeding as well.

4) Heirlooms ? If you have any favourite gifted or handmade items, let me know so we can find creative ways to include them as well.

5) For the solo baby photos I bring the items & do a simple set up to capture timeless moments of your newborn and their little details. For any baby ‘down to the diaper’ photos/ bathing photos the heat will need to be turned up to keep baby comfortable.

In home /life style Newborn sessions are a natural sweet way to showcase your little human in the comfort of your home.
